My buddy had a spare housing that i started to clean up but sort of put that aside for a while. I'm gonna see what i can do over the weekend with some silicon or jb weld

nice fit on the snorkel, no idea why anybody would buy an ARB when that fits so good.

Slaughterhouse mayhem
Ran Slaughterhouse on saturday with [MENTION=107971]derpiful[/MENTION] [MENTION=106741]bambi_runner6[/MENTION] and [MENTION=99762]colorado4runnin[/MENTION]
I'll start off mentioning that it has been raining in colorado for the past 2 weeks straight and it completely changed the trail to something unexpected. I ran the trail 3 weeks ago and it took maybe 2and a half hours with picture stops and this time took us over 8 with getting stuck, repairs, and ended up with leaving my truck on the side of the trail. I got super lucky and kirk of RTI saw my post later saturday night and said he had the parts that I needed to get moving again. He brought me parts the next morning and I met with [MENTION=89400]MrHentoni[/MENTION] and we pulled the spindle off, replaced it with another along with the cv I pulled apart. We were able to get it off the trail and back into my lot where it's gonna sit for a while. Now for the part you guys are waiting for

First time getting stuck, I'm in front half flexing half sinking into a mud pit

Like i said, deep soft mud
First recovery, Jake was anchored off of Hayden and would winch him backwards and then I was strapped up front and pull him back forwards
I also ended up pulling a jeep thru that had showed up while we were stuck
Did I mention it started snowing?

Taking a short break, random jeeps show up
Next obstacle, his slid and got his driver fender wedged up against the mud
I was behind him so i offered to pull him back level, bad idea! I broke one of my bumper mounts
Broken mount
I was able to pull off the trail and let Hayden pull him out
Back out, you can see how deep he was on his driver side
Get to the next meeting spot and I help pull one of the smaller runners thru and then snap :shocked: Somehow 3 of my lbj bolts worked themselves out (they were locktighted and torqued) and the remaining one sheered off inside the spindle.
Field repair, I forgot I live in Co so now its sunny and about 20 degrees warmer. I was mad and muddy so I just crawled under to get it fixed. Not the idea set up but we had 2 hilifts as well as the stock jack supporting the front side
More mud pits
I borrowed some bolts from Devins runner, but could only get the front two bolts to hold, guess what happens a mile down the trail... Except this time I was going up a hill, the last hill I probably had to make before I could fully limp it off the trail
Ripped the cv apart, spindle no longer connected to the lbj, busted my washer fluid pump (the blue leak), pushed the tire up into the fender denting it and pulling a flare off.
This is where we called it a day, we had been on the trail for 7 hours now, and were all cold, hungry, thirsty and tired. We backed Stormie (aka panda) down the trail a little, grabbed my valuables and left her there :Cry:
Jake had to go between some trees to get around me and broke his mirror, dented both doors and pulled part of his flare off
The next day fixing the spindle with tanner, took about 3 hours to fix but just reaching panda took almost an hour so we didn't get off the trail until 7, we got to the trailhead by 1:30. Jake was in the process of getting a search party ready to come look for us since we had no service.

So now shes back in my parking lot but has to be parked for a few weeks until I can afford to start my repairs. My major concern is how my bumper broke when I wasn't putting a ton of strain on it.
