I won't re-hash all of the advantages of getting new tires. My original Bridgestones lasted 32K and were getting very worn. I could have gotten realistically 3-5K more but that would have been taking it into the danger territory.
I decided on the Cooper Discoverer AT3. I kept the stock size and passenger rating. I do not need nor want a lift and P is just fine for my off roading. I do not rock crawl or anything.
There have been a few on here that have purchased them and Okki has the ATP. I drove 475 miles with them on a trip this past Sunday. Very quiet and handles well on the interstate. I took them off road Sunday night for about a mile. It was not too muddy but enough to put it in 4H. The tires, as expected were superior to stock. All in all I am happy with performance and definitely happy at the price which was less than $750.00 out the door including 6% sales tax.
Anyway, here are a few pics.
