The long ones are for the 9 inch wide rims and look out of place on the 8 inch wide Mojaves.The 1 inch shorter ones with the X are the correct ones.do atx make short or almost flat center caps ? i got mojaves and the re****ed looking center caps are so long.. are the atx center caps with the X shorter?
i want it almost flat..do they have snap in?

No AR does not make snap in ones.

People usually have to cut them down to get them to fit. The lip of the center cap protrudes just enough to not allow the wheel to sit flush. This is because of the front hub on toyotas are too wide in diameter.
The AR center caps are push through in regards to the mojaves. You can't even fit the center caps over the hub (without the wheel).

so if i get atx center caps for 6x5.5 pattern it will not fit over the front hub?
do i have to force the cap on with the wheels???
silversx - I had the same problem when I replaced my Limited's 20" alloys with 17" ProComps. The center caps for the ProComps did not fit over the front hubs without being forced on. I had an independent tire shop install my "new" tires and rims. They felt the same way as I did about forcing the centercaps over the front hubs - not really the best idea. They searched through their other centercaps and found some Eagle centercaps that easily fit over the hub and fit the centerbore of the rims. My Limited did not look right without the centercaps. So I needed to find a solution and the Eagle centercaps worked perfect for my needs plus they are the short caps.

The AR ATX shorties fit but are a little tight. It's real important with center caps like this that you use anti-seize or grease where they go over the hub to prevent them from rusting on. I've had to cut some off before as that is a place where water seems to get to and rust on all vehicles.
Most aftermarket wheels are beveled to accommodate the lip of the center cap that I've seen.
I took the short ATX ones from my Mojave's and painted them satin black to match my new Konig wheels. Taped off the center pieces and used Toyota emblems to replace the center.I had them off as I just got back from re-balancing and an alignment so I shot some pics since we were on the subject. Tire shops have a way of facking center caps like these up so I took them back off.

Yep, They are the Konigs X's and have 4.1" back spacing with a -10 offset.
do they fit calipers without needing spacers?
you're good at this math.. is 4.1bs -10 offset more inward or outward vs the mojave 17x8

More outboard 10mm/.4" so no problem with calipers.They also weigh only 20lbs 2oz. each vs. the Mojave's at 26lbs 8oz. I weighed them both a couple of weeks ago when I got them. I still have my Mojaves and having them powdercoated satin black for a second set of tamer AT tires.

The X's stick out .4"/10mm more .I have wide 305mm tires but I just measured and they stick out about 1/4 " for a more aggressive stance. With 285's they would be about perfectly flush.

Just wondering, why have them powder coated if they're Teflon?

Wished they were black since I got them and the gray "Teflon" is just spray paint and has some rock rash along the edges in a couple of places.
There's a guy local that will powdercoat them from his house for cheap if your not in a hurry.

Harper7 - I guess "we" should know that given time you would find the time and need to mod centercaps.
Long story short I did the same - modded the centercaps on a set of Centerline wheels I had on a '81 Toy Pickup.
