Before watching either vidz my assumptions are Audi for link 1 and Subaru for link 2.
Not surprised by the results, sad that Audi lost its quattro-ness, but i also like BMW so its all good.
I was surprised by how well the passat did, and how bad the Yota and Honda did, despite hating subaru's i firmly believe they are great AWD vehicles for their class.

x 2...shock at Audi's results. I read somewhere that Toyota is working with Subaru to develop future AWD systems for Toyota.

These test results are somewhat skewed. I drive a quattro Audi, and even though it's all wheel drive all the diffs are open too. So it relys on the computer to tell the ABS to pulse on a free spinning wheel, thus sending torque to the other wheels.
The only problem is that in extreme conditions (on rollers) the ABS doesn't have enough authority to stop a spinning wheel. So, it's not that there is a lack of power to move the vehicle, it's a lack of braking authority to stop a spinning wheel.
In a real world test, even on ice, the result would be much different. I still like quattro anyway.
