So I plan to purchase a GROM-USB adapter for my stock jbl nav model E7005.
I simply want to load my music files on a USB stick and play them as CD's.
There are many similar devices listed on Ebay and most all of them connect using an external CD player connector that is white with 2 rows of 6 pins ea. I searched the web and found several pictures of the rear connectors on my head unit and there is no matching 12pin connector! I sent the pics to GROM and they informed me I needed to request a LEX harness (they even sent me a picture of it) and it should work.... in most cases! I was wondering if anyone else has experience with this and can confirm what I have been told?
