Audio player not found

Anyone else have this problem with their radio? I listen to the radio everyday and when I get home I turn off the radio. But then in the morning when I turn on the radio I get a message Audio Player Cannot Be Found!
Then I just press presets and everything is fine.Whats up or is this normal?

That is related to an input audio device like mp3 player etc... You may accidentally hit the steering wheel control button or something in that manner.

This happens to me too for the ipod I leave connected in the glove compartment. I just hit the auxillary button and it finds it. I'm quite sure I'm not accidentally hitting anything that is causing this. Probably happens out of of every 3 or 4 times I start the car, and isn't a big inconvenience IMO. I wouldn't worry about it.

The Ipod went to sleep mode when you leave it connect with no activity, so when you restart the car the on board PC turn on and try to continue playing from connected ipod but the ipod did not wake up therefore the player can't locate your mp3 then the message will appear. Think of your Ipod/mp3 player as an external hard drive like one that connect to your PC at home.

yeah I'm sure that's it. I didn't realize the OP was talking about the radio vs. an mp3 player.

I only use the radio, I do not have a MP3 or Ipod and I know I am not hitting any swich or buttons when I turn off the radio other than pushing in the radio off knob on the dash. It is not really any problem but I just wanted to know why?

I have the Nav, I have my cell phone paired via bluetooth but have turned off the bluetooth connection for the MP3 player feature on the phone. I get this message because it looks for it, but can't connect.
