Hi fellas,
I'm in the middle of doing a Scion T1819 install and things are going very smoothly. Scion unit sounds great, up to a certain point, then the sound distorts. I'm pretty sure this is due to the fact that I turned the volume to MAX on the original radio before unplugging. So, figured I'd plug the old radio back in and bring the volume down to 3/4 level, as required by PAC TATO instructions.
So, I plug the original radio back in and I get NADA! I don't know how I killed the old radio by simply unplugging it.:wtf: I plugged the SCION radio to the connectors and she fired right up, telling me that all power is being supplied to the connectors. When the old radio gets plugged back in, I can hear the CD mechanism doing its thing. However, pushing the power button does nothing, no lights, sounds or anything.
Has this happened to anyone before?
