The engine looks like a in-line type instead of a V configuration. Could you give us more info on the engine. By the way it looks great.

Yes, definitely some sweet pics. I second all the questions asked above. Plus I'll add is that color still called Pacific Blue in the Dominican Republic? Or is it a slightly different shade and name?

:bugeye: KICK-ASS BULL BAR! I've never seen one like that on any truck. It sorta looks like the JAOS, but with that extra bar and a different skidplate. Very nice.

.....and a functional hoodscoop.....this guys got it all!

Yes the hoodscoop is functional on the Turbo diesels. What you are looking at is the intercooler of the TD, similar to a Subi.

I cringe at the thought of the salt water and what it must be doing to your truck after driving it on the beach. Hopefully you cleaned it well or I'll start to hear it rusting from up in NY in a few weeks. Congrats on T4ROTM!

Oh my God!!!! I can't belive it!!!!! thank you so much guys, I'm really excited.....yohooo!!!!!!!!!! thanks again to everyone on the forums for your interest in this piece of machine that we all love! the 4Runners!!!
I was with my cousing that came from worcester, MA. last week, he owns a sport edition and he was blasted! when he saw my limited edition diesel engine 4Runner, I'm really happy with my SUV and I'm very happy to be............THE August 2005 T4R of the month!!!!!
