How much did you lift it so the tires dont rub. I have 22's but i dont have them on cause they rub like crazy, makes a terrible sound when i am pulling into a parking space.

Yeah 22"s and lifting with A/T tires is a little strange, but I wanted to be different, and I like 22"s! :bigok:

Yeah I know we have the exact same rides, me and you are the only black Urban Runner's on here I believe.

What size tire are you running? I went with the cornfed 2"/1" it still rubbed though, but it's fixed now.
 
That is a sweet ride for sure.

I'm more of a 4x4 style kind of guy but can definately appreciate a well done truck.
 
The ride feel

I'm curious to ask how the ride feels like on 22s. Do u feel every bump on the road? Hows the handling?

I live in NJ and the potholes are in almost every road/highway. Some are big and deep, I had an Acura TL before I baught my runner and I bent all rims and bubbled/blew out tires. I ended up replacing some rims and many tires!

That is what scares me from big rims on heavy SUVs, although they look bad ass:bash: :bash: :bash:

I live on Long Island and yea the potholes get a lil annoying, but all you need to do, is OPEN YOUR EYES. Just avoid them. How you damaged 4 wheels and tires is beyond me.

And learn to spell. Its BOUGHT, not baught.

The ride isan't that bad and the roads I mainly travel on have little or no potholes at all, so I don't have to worry about that! :bigok:
 
how wide are the rims? and whats rubbing? The plastic liners I'd imagine right?

Do you think 275/45's would rub as much? I'm thinking about getting these rims in 22x9.5 with some 275/45's and possibly leaving the stock suspension or MAYBE doing the cornfed kit.

I found that the ride on my 22's was much worse than the stock tires. I will take pictures of where my tires were rubbing the wheel wells if you want. The stock wheels are a much better ride, i guess you just have to choose between looks and performance. Expect your gas mileage to drop considerably also. Those wheels are pretty sweet though, with 22's you will most definately need to lift.

yea I dont care man. I'm 24 years old, not 50. I Love the way that rim looks and I think in black in 22" it will look SICK. I was considering the 24's at first but Then I wont want to drive on the beach, and in snow or tow my boat. Since I do all 3 of those things, I'm gonna go with 22's, 275/45's most likely and probably a cornfed kit.

Dont get me wrong i like the look too, but you sacrifice too much performance.

It's hard to say how bad it will rub, but either way you gotta do the Cornfed 2"/1" with the 45 series tire.
 
Fo Sheezy: I have 20" Enkeis... I want ot get some terra Grapplers but can't seem to find any that would fit... Where did you find yours? And how big can i go without needing a lift?
