I was surprised to see my screen name as a subject. Thanks for the compliment. The color code is 3D8. If you read my story on the truck, I bought it first in 1995 and sold it to a couple of guys from MN that were in town for Thanksgiving weekend in 1996.

Last year, while checking on parts on yotatech, I saw a headline for a Gold sr5 4runner so I went to check it out. It was my old truck! Luckily, the guy that bought it from the guys I sold it too, was a toyota enthusiast and he built up the already clean truck into what it is today. I couldn't resist, so my girlfriend and I flew up and we drove it home.

I think there are 3 or 4 gold Sr5's in Austin!

I live in central Oregon - so you won't have to worry about seeing a clone of your 4unner driving around.
