Auto dimming mirror mounting..

Ok so i hooked up the mirror without too much hassle.
I've looked through every post about this and as usual i seem to be the only person with this problem :xnuts:
I can't get the mirror tight on the base, everyone says just take off old mirror which is easy and install new one...ok. i've heard people mention you need a torx screw to tighten it.... where the heck is the screw and where does it go? me confused.
