Auto headlights not turning off

Re: low fuel lilght - ok, will keep an eye out for it, haven't seen it yet in 40k miles, and usually run pretty low on fuel before i fill up.

I thought I'd run mine really low the other day, gauge was just tickling the "E" line. Lowest I've seen since I've bought it.

I filled up 17 gallons. IIRC we have a 23 gallon tank.

Light won't come on until there's about 2-3 gallons left.

Auto Light Issues

So I’m having a couple issues with my 2011 Limited.
1- The auto headlights turn on when the sensor is covered, or it is dark. However they do not turn off when light is back on the sensor, the interior lights do brighten up like day mode though.
2- Auto lights don’t turn off when the vehicle is turned off, I exit and try locking (it won’t let me lock). The door switch is working, already checked that.
3- With the ignition OFF, if I switch the lights ON, or to AUTO when it is dark, the climate control comes on as if I put it in the ACC position.
Totally lost as to what could be causing this.
Any ideas?

do you have an aftermarket remote start installed? with ignition OFF - you turn your lights on and your climate control starts working? that is strange. I know for some of these settings on the auto lights they can be adjusted

UPDATE: Issue resolved.
I don’t know that anyone else will ever have this same problem, but I figured out what it was. I think it would be nearly impossible to figure out if it wasn’t for these weird circumstances.
The passenger heated seat didn’t work, so I pulled the switch. The switch was burned out inside, somehow shorting out the climate control and lighting circuits, creating that weird issue. Ordered a new switch, but with the switch disconnected everything is working fine.

I know, this issue was so strange, a real head-scratcher. But glad to have resolved it along with the heated seat issue!

Same with mine. Have to turn the lights off manually.

Also, there is no low fuel and low windshield washer warning lights ! :wow:

Doesn't bother me, but never seen that in a car !!

Low fuel light will come on, but you need to bring it down pretty damn low (mine usually doesn't trigger till my range is down to about 25 miles at most).
