Auto locking and unlocking door options.

I may sound like an idiot and probably most of you already know that, but I just discovered that you can completely turn off all Auto locking and unlocking door options on 4-th gen 4runner.:frog:
Auto locking and unlocking doors annoyed me since I got the truck (especially during hunting trips and boat lunching) and I always thought that I only had 4 options on how the doors could be auto locked and unlocked, just as it is describes in owner manual...
Here is a part I missed, when I did the reading: if you run setup for any of those opinions once and then do it again for the same option it will simple disable it. :trophy:
Just want to share this.

Thanks for the share. We all must be idiots one time or another, because I missed reading that too! Been looking to disable my autodoor lock feature.

Finally was able to disable my auto door lock after owning this T4R for over a year!

Makes ya feel like an idiot when it's right in front your eyes! Doh!

Please point this idiot to instructions on how to turn off the auto-lock feature. Thanks!

The instructions for programming the locks are in your owner's manual, if you don't have your owner's manual you can view and or download a PDF one from Toyota's owners website, you can also find other info for your Toyota as well, especially if you register there, such as service history done at Toyota dealerships.
