auto-off headlights 2006 sr5

I'd like to alter my 4R to have auto-off headlights as on the higher-level models. While I could pop over to Pep Boys to get a relay to put between the lights and battery and powered by the ignition circuit, is there an easier fix, such as a relay that Toyota left out of the base model that could be plugged in to the board, or could I move the power from the battery to the ignition?
I'd like to hear from others before I reinvent the wheel.

The SR5 and SE have auto-off headlights, which will turn them off if you turn the truck off, get out, and walk away from it. After three minutes, the headlights will go off. You can also force them off immediately by pressing the Lock button twice on the wireless remote.

The Limited has auto-on/off headlights, which includes a photo sensor mounted on the dash to turn the headlights on and off based on ambient lighting conditions. The same auto-off stuff above applies on the Limited as well.

The Stealer can set the lights to go off as soon as the door is opened or at different delayed times. I think it can be set to go as soon as the motor is turned off also.
