Auto Transmission problems

I have a 93 4runner with an auto trans and v6. I doesn't seem to want to start off in 1st gear from a dead stop. I'm guessing it's one of the shift solenoids.

I put shift solenoids in my xtracab pu that has the same motor and trans and if I remeber right it took care of the problem. But, want to double check to see for sure

I'm not sure, but there a speed sensor that can go bad also. But, I don't know where it is located. Internal. or external?

Did you figure out your problem with this? My son had a transmission rebuilt because of this, there was a leak in the transfercase or something. But anyway, I have a brand new one for a 93 4 runner auto with 4wheel drive, still in plastic if you need one, I can sell it to you for cheap, I sold his 4runner and the new owners never came and got the transmission, so I am just going to sell it. 757-696-0268

Professionally rebuilt, I paid 1600.00 for it, I had it on order and then sold the truck the new owner never came and got it, I left messages for him but no return call, so its been taking up room in my garage, theres a picture posted on this forum somewhere, if you send me an e-mail at [email protected] I can send you a picture
