Auto Transmission

Does anybody know where you check to fluid for the automatic transmission on a 4.7 motor. There is no dipstick? Also I checked the scheduled maintenance manual and it does not show the service interval time frame to preform this maintenance. Any suggestions?

The short story is Toyota claims it's a lifetime fluid. For most changing at 60k seems like the right answer.

As for changing/checking the fluid this thread is a great resource. It describes how-to and talks about WS fluid. Also within the thread are some great links that are worth following.

Finally got it to work. Thanks to everyone that helped me on this. Just what I needed.
