I look at one Lexus and saw that all the windows are all auto for up and down.
how could I put it in the 4runner?

it MAY be as simple as replacing all the other switches with one like the one that controls the driver side window. ...I'm not sure what the wiring looks like in there....

The easiest way to do that is to buy a Lexus!!! :biggrin2:

I would bet that you need a different computer for the windows. In order to avoid crushing fingers, automatic-up windows need to "learn" where the up position is so that the motor can use less force to close the window. It can't just keep closing until it hits something. If the window motor doesn't have such a control behind it, then you can't have the auto-up capability.

That's a good point

To do it factory may be tough. I put a Bully remote start on my old Nissan Titan. In researching for that project, I saw several add-on modules associated with remote start that'd do windows up & down. The good news about the T4R is it is old enough the aftermarket has lots of plug & play harness adapters to aid with install. You don't have to hack into harnesses.

If you really want that feature I'd look into remote starters. It'll be cheaper than buying GX switches and modules.

I don't think he is over 50yo.

If being over 50 y.o. is a requirement to own a Lexus, then Ray Catena definitely broke the rules 2 years ago...;):

The topic of windows has been discussed on this forum in the past at length, however I don't know if anyone successfully installed this mod...

I love this feature on the GX and would LOVE to install this mod on my T4R.
