I like the Woodgrain vinyl on the Buick Roadmaster , I think it would look good on the 4R....lol.
Why was I not surprised that the Aztek made the list
AMC Pacer , dubbed the "Wide small car" in the TV commercials in it's time.
Chevy SSR , never could understand that vehicle .
Isuzu Vehicross , there is a guy around here that has one that is mint !! Strange looking vehicle , but good for him for taking care of his vehicle. That is the only one I've seen in years. Are they 4x4's ?? or are they AWD's or 2wd's .

They are indeed quite capable. They are based on the Isuzu Trooper platform, which is quite capable in it's day. It is like the FJ version of the Trooper...shorter wheelbase, higher stance (i think), and rally race-inspired suspension. The suspension consisted of special shocks (with reservoir) and stiffer. It is 4wd with Lo range. The lower plastic is supposedly dent resistant. It was an odd vehicle, but i actually liked it when it came out. The backseat was quite small and useless.
IMHO, the Vehicross was ahead of it's time...if it came out now, then i think that it will be more accepted by the general public...i don't see it as being that much worst cometically than a FJ Cruiser.

I want to say thank goodness Toyota doesn't have any on that list. However, I think the Echo was spared because there are vehicles that are "that much more worst" than the Echo.
The X-90 would probably the be car Red Bull would be using if it was it was still in production instead hacked Mini's.

I liked the VehiCross too. They had some advanced drivetrain stuff too. You could run 4hi on the pavement, drive-by-wire and good HP/TQ for the size and weight of the vehicle. No Isuzu Axiom on the list, I wonder why.
I am glad the Mercedes R was in the list. I swear I can see Pacifica DNA in that thing.

I'm sorry to admit that I like the Roadmaster. I'm bracing myself for mockery here folks, but I took a road trip in one once and slept in the back most of the way. That says enough right there! Although the one I rode in didn't have the woody panels (thank God).
To me, the ugliest vehicle of all time was the Grand Wagoneer. No shock AMC is out of business, eh?

Great List! Uneek, the echo was spared because it was the interior that was so awful. Nothing on that vehicle is of original thought or imagination, inside and out. Where was the Honda Element? Every once in a while I get to see a vehicle and think "Who decided to run with that?". The real question though is "Why did you buy that?". Maybe it's just very, very, very skilled salesmen at work. . .

Exactly... it's not so much the manufacturer's fault when garbage comes out and people buy it. If people don't buy it and that's all that sits on the lot at the end of the first year, second year, etc., then they won't produce junk anymore. It's just like those crappy colors that some cars come in like lavendar, etc.

X-90 with Red Bull
There is one of those X-90 Zuki here in town with the Red Bull can-it lives over by the UPS facility on Holly Street. I will try to get a shot....very odd look.
