Aux input into '03 JBL

How can I affordably add aux input to my JBL '03 10 spkr stereo. Know I can get cassette adapter, but will audio quality be awful? Or is it better to get a new head unit. Hate to do that if not necessary. Want to hear my iPhone songs instead of cds.

Pls help.

Forum search and Google would probably be your friend, here.

All of the usual suspects make or have made aux input adapters that let you feed RCAs and/or USB into the CD changer port. PIE, Blitzsafe, US Spec, and Grom Audio are the mfgs that come to mind.

I tried the good old "Tape with a headphone jack hooked up to it" and it sounds awful. Weird part is that in my Escalade it sounded fine, but in the 4R, it sounds really distorted. Either way, like wolf stated, they make plenty of adapters that you plug into the back. Thats your best bet.

Has anybody tried these devices on a 2005-older 4th gen with navigation? I assume I could unplug the RSA and use my ipod instead.
