Aux input question - USB and BT Audio

I have USB drive that I have plugged into the port in the glove box. To get to that device I have to hit the AUX button twice - the first time it goes to BT Audio which I do not have set up, and then to the USB and everything works great.
Here's the problem though. I'll be listening to songs on the USB drive, turn the car off, come back and turn the car on and the system defaults to the BT Audio AUX input. I then have to hit AUX again to get to the USB input and the player picks up right where it was when I turned off the vehicle. Seems kind of silly that the system would not remember which AUX input I was listening to and go straight to that when I start the car back up.

Is this normal?

Mine goes right back to what I was last listening to.
Just went out and checked. I mostly listen to my USB drive only.

Mine does what yours does AJ except that I use an IPOD. it always reverts to BT AUDIO unless I was listeneing to radio/XM when I shut her off.

I think it's because the radio comes on before your USB device initializes. The radio thinks there's nothing plugged in so it reverts to whatever the last input you had selected was.

Ah, OK, I'll try a different USB stick and see if that will initialize faster and start playing right away.
