Auxiliary Fuse Block c/w Switches

Hello Everyone,

As many of you have already done I am going to install an underhood fuse & relay block to make installing future accessories easier.

I remember coming across a how-to several months ago that detailed exactly what I want to do (several circuits, some switched, some power only). This person had a link to an ebay store for the fuse block assembly (it was like $120 or so) and had it mounted on a piece of aluminum angle and installed on the driver's side of the engine bay.

I've tried searching for this info (I think it was in a build thread) but can't for the life of me find it. Anyone happen to have a link?

I think you are looking for the Bussmann RTMR. There are several different trays that fit these modules.

Shrockworks has a nice mount plate for the Bussmann. Just got done with the install of the Shrockworks mount and RTMR in my 16 T4R.

Here is the HOWTO by bodenzord. There are 6 parts (web pages). Part 6 is a very good howto on wiring and installation of the switches themselves. No matter what direction you go, you'll likely need to use that section as a reference.

I just checked on eBay, the guy who sold the distribution box on eBay for $129 is no longer selling them.

For what it's worth. I was going the route of building it myself and/or building off a prewired box. When I priced all the parts and tools it came just shy of an SPOD so I just bought that instead.
