Auxilliary Lights on 2003 4Runner

I have a 2003 4Runner V8. I've tried to add a set of fog/driving lights using several different wiring diagrams from leading manufacturers and in each case the same result - immediate blown fuses. I've tried a couple of different relays and lights. I'm lost given I've installed on numerous other vehicles with no problems. Need help. I'm sure others of you out there have installed auxillary lights without any fanfare. Help please!
