Avg Brake Life?

Hi all, just got the wonderful 30k service done. They said my front brakes are wearing and probably by the next oil change I'll need some work done. What has been the avg brake life? I have 06 Sport with 30000 miles on it.

Depends on how you drive, how aggressive you break etc. 30k is not unheard of but then again neither is 50k.

53k and still no need for brakes

I have been waiting to get brakes but the dealer, discount tire, and the brake specialists turn me away. My brakes dont even make noise!! I may just have them done at 55k regardless just to be safe.

Running the same pads at 100k. Flushing the fluids this weekend. But it all depends on usage. When I have to replace anything I think I will change to EBC rotors and pads.

I changed my front pads @ 60k miles. I failed state inspection because they were less than 3/32nds. I drive my truck pretty hard and tow a trailer periodically.

Changed front and rear with OEM replacements at 62K. Although I wasted my money on the rears they had much more life in them. (No towing.)

mine got changed when I bought it with 60K, I suppose I'm good for another 60
