Awning mount ideas?

I'd like to mount an awning to my existing roof rack, but i don't think it'll work with the L brackets most awnings come with.

This is the cargo rack I have:

Anyone know of mounting brackets that could work? Or any DIY'ers been in my situation and found a solution?

Just trying to avoid having to get a new roof rack since this one is great for my proposes.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You did not say you aleady had an awning.
I DIY my awning because it is stored in garage most of year. I also highway travel with it in cabin to avoid wind noise.
I use a super reflective tarp (forestry supply) 6' x 9' ' that is white one side and silver other side.
Easy to set up and tiny in garage. A 6' solid bamboo type pole inserts into PVC pipe. Home made brackets and hose clamps hold PVC to stock rack.
Twist lock painters aluminum poles and nylon lines keep awning up. Works both sides of my SR5. Sets up fast.

If you don't already have an awning, ARB has been discounting some/all of their awnings since spring.
Probably the 2.0, if you're using factory roof rails, but your call.
Or, if you want something off the back, Slumberjack has an awning that doesn't require mounting hardware, if you don't want to DIY like the previous post.
FYI, FWIW, HTH.

I have a used ROAM awning for sale. havent posted it up yet, too lazy to take some pictures. $200
if you're interested, I can get you some photos.
