Axle Housing on 99 4runner

Hey, I'm brand spanking new. I was just wondering if the rear axle housing on a 96 tacoma non e-locker, would fit (with ease) in my 99 4runner. I need to replace the housing on the 4runner, and I found a pretty sweet deal on the 96 tacoma housing. Please help! Thanks. Or for that matter the axle housing off of a Gen 2 4runner?

The Taco axle isn't going to work without major mods because your runner is coil spring and the Taco is leaf spring so the mounts are totally different. I'm not sure if the 2nd gen runner axle will or not, they're both coil spring set-ups, but I'm not sure if the size is the same and all the mounts are placed the same.
