Look what came today!

I'm shocked that they dont look all ripped up, usually the west coast racks look like a truck driver had a vendetta to satisfy and took it out on the wrap. Paint! Install! Picture!

They were wrapped very well, although when the truck driver opened the door I could see that they were not strapped in the truck... just kinda laying there.

All good though already painted it and it's drying in now. I'll post up some pics in my build thread. Link in my sig.

Can anyone give me an idea of how you mount something to the factory rails? I have the rails but nothing mounted, and I would like to build a rack...

I am in New Zealand, otherwise I would be trying to get hold of one of these beauties!!

Negative, I'm balls to the wall right now just trying to catch up with other orders. On top of that, my wife is due to have the baby pretty soon and he's already a bruiser!! 8 pounds 12 ounces and 2-3 weeks left to go, my poor wife!!

Shipping would be 85 to a business address or held for pickup at the nearest Southeastern Freight service center.

Mine is a 1996...

The rails on the roof are essentially T-slots with rectangular M6 "nuts" free to slide the length of the T-slots. Bolt your _________ to the M6 nuts. I'm assuming that your rails have no nuts...

I haven't driven with the fairing off yet so I have nothing to compare it to. I literally put the rack on and then left to go up to Tahoe and there was a little wind noise/clacking around but it's not bad at all tho.

Here is mine loaded up, went up to Gold Lake/Snake Lake and did some camping wheeling. No noise with the rack loaded up but haven't driven it with it unloaded yet.

On top I had: Storage bin with camping supplies, 2 chairs, 6 man tent, camping table, chainsaw, and bbq.

Looks good, did the fairing just fits right on ? I should be getting my rack this THURSDAY !!!!! Going to raptor line it... Like.bed liner.

I believe the rack is $275, unless the price has changed.

It would be pretty dang high I believe, I can't even get a quote on my shippers website which is never a good sign. its close to 200 just to get one to California.
