Back up camera for 06 4runner without Nav screen?

Anyone have a backup camera package that works well? I dont have Nav or a screen so was thinkign of getting one of those wireless ones that comes with a screen you can clip on the visor?? Thoughts?

O i meant i would buy a new one, if anyone had suggestions with Makes etc.

good luck finding someone's available backup camera parts. funny how nobody needed backup cameras 10 years ago. same goes with GPS's.
there has to be aftermarket backup camera vendors out there . . . let us know if you find any

Don't get the wireless one. They are junks. I went through 3 of them already and non of them worked good.

I installed a Kenwood DNX5120 in my 07. It's a whole new unit with NAV, SAT, DVD, etc. You can connect a backup camera to it if you want, too. I guess my point is that you don't need factory NAV to add a backup camera if you're willing to rip out the factory head unit. It will look a lot better than some weird screen clipped to the sun visor, too.

:iagree: I have one and it is sort-of helpful on a daily basis. It's way too subject to interference. I got mine to be better by powering the camera all the time and switching the screen on/off as necessary.

If I hold my hand just right and the moon is of a specific size and the breeze is out of the NE at less than 10knots it's great for hooking up a trailer.

Don't you have the c-pillar mirrors? Probably the best rear vision devices I have ever used - even better than a camera since you can see the periphery as well...

Many of us don't. With the factory upgade JBL stereo you lose the mirrors. There's little speakers there instead (unfortunately).

weird, cuz I have the JBL system with NAV and I still have the mirrors
