Back-Up Camera install for Pioneer AVIC-D3

Anyone have information regarding an install for a back up camera for the pioneer AVIC-D3 headunit? I've read some posts discussing it and some folks had issues with running the wires and hooking it up to the reverse. Anyone have any info they could pass along to me or know where to direct me to?

I am also un-sure of which camera(s) would be compatible with my system, as they range in price from $70 to $250.....

Any help is appreciated, thanks for all the great advice everyone shares!

I went with the Pioneer ND-BC4 on my Z120bt. It's not the cheapest. Because of running all the cabling myself, I wanted to get something that would last as long as possible. That's not to say the cheaper eBay cameras aren't as good or will last as long but I personally didn't want to take that chance. I have zero complaints about it.

I can't remember the install... but I'm pretty sure it wasn't that bad. If you take apart your rear door to run the cables through there, leave a sidedoor open during the install. I remember with the battery thing (disconnecting or reconnecting or something) that I couldn't open my rear anymore so climbing in the side door helped.

Test everything before you slide the unit back in. It will likely be cramp. Good luck.
