back up light`s wires

what controls the back up lights, is it one of the pluggings that go in the transmission. Its from a 92 4runner 5-speed 4cyl. I am installing sbc with 700r4 and would like to know so i can know wich wires to use thanks.

Yep, it will be one of the plugs at the transmission. Would be easy to find with a multimeter or test light and someone to pop it in reverse while you are laying beneath it probing.

Should be a red and red/blue wires on a connector on the trans.
