Back window won't power up.....any thoughts?

Hello,

The back window on my 4runner will not power up when I use the button on the dash.

However it will power up when I use the key. Also, I've modded my 4runner with a remote start and they were able to make it power up with the remote as well.

So any ideas? Is there a circuit breaker or something that I can reset?

If you disconnected the battery, then you need to re-initialize the power windows, back window, moonroof, and compass.

Don't have an answer for you, but i've had that happen to me many times. If i use the window several times that day, and i put it down with the fob, it wont go up with the switch on the dash, nor with the key in the hole turned right. I havent messed with the battery or any electrical thing. It just doesnt go up! I wonder what the problem could be.

I just remembered... the button on the dash for the back window is also subject to the lockout button on the driver's door. If you have the passenger windows locked, the back window will not operate from the button on the dash, but it will still work with the key fob.
