Backspacing clarification (thinking out loud)

I'm looking at 16x8" wheels that have 3 5/8 (3.6 inches) backspacing and -22mm (0.86 inch) offset. That would push the tires out pretty far. But not much further than you guy's running a 4" BS wheel with a 1.25" spacer. Am I right on this? Anyone running a wheel with that much backspacing?

That sounds about right because the rim is 1 inch wider than stock and your gaining about a quarter inch from backspacing.
