Backspacing & Offset

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade my wheels but I have a few questions. I want to keep the same fitment I have now with my Sport Edition Wheels and Spidertraxx, but I have no idea what the backspacing is on the OEM sport edition wheels. The wheels I'm looking at have a 4.5" backspacing. Could I run these without the spidertraxx and still achieve the same fitment?

You will have to find out the width and offset of your sport edition wheels along with the thickness of your spacers. With that information we can better help you.

Yeah, that's where I am stuck. From what I can find out the stock sport edition wheels are 17" x 7.5" and my spacers are 1.25". I can't figure out the offset of the rims though. Was hoping someone knew what it was.

Haha, yeah. I figure I will just try them on with the spacer and if I don't like the way it looks I will take them off. I will keep you updated Morphyne.

Hey Everyone,

so I'm still going through different options for new wheels and I'm wondering if I'm missing any thread that goes over offsets and backspacing for 4th gens. I've been searching as much as possible but still can't find any information like what the max backspacing is or what kind of offsets will work or where you will get rub. Max rim width, etc. Is there a thread that goes over this or is it just a hit or miss situation?
