Greetings all. First post here, had my '84 trail rig for 3 years now and it has been flawless since I got it until a few weeks ago. Started smelling gas so I took out the Jeep instead (4 Runner is not plated, so it only goes on local trails towed to get there).
Leaking from the front of the carb- have to look into it to get a better idea of what to do.
My other question is how much fender trimming is required to fit 35X12.5 tires. I have a set I am getting in a trade and thinking they will wake up the 4Runner. I am currently running 265/85R15s (= 30.5X9.8 tire).
I am in the midwest and the beast has a lot of rust on all four fenders. I figure cutting it all out to clear bigger tires will help it look better and do better off road.
