Bad Leak Please Help

I have a leak in the roof of my 4Runner that is rapidly getting worse. It leaks to the point that a solid stream will shoot into the driver and/or passenger's laps when it rains. (Yes it leaks on both sides) There's a seal on the roof above the doors that for reasons unbeknownst to me are extremely loose. Loose enough I can pick it up and slide my entire hand under it without stretching it at all. Why did this happen? How do I fix it ASAP? It's soaking into my floorboards and my whole car smells sour. I've tried so hard to get the smell out and I can't do that either especially because it gets undone as soon as it rains. Any and all help is appreciated!!

I couldn't take a picture of my 4Runner right now, but I found this picture on google and circled the seal in question.

Thanks!!

Check your sunroof drains. Use weed whacker wire to clear them.

It's very unlikely the area that you pointed out where your roof is leaking from.

Yesterday I noticed these seals lifting up on my 4Runner also. They go from above the front doors all the way down the windshield, and where mine meet the windshield they're not seating. Haven't experienced leaks yet, but could definitely see how these could be a point of failure.

Interested to see responses to your issue.

The side seals have little to nothing to do with your leak. The most likely issue is the sunroof drains themselves being clogged, it's extremely common with sunroofs.

Would not have guessed that. Thanks guys! And yes RPC, mine is the same way. Any chance someone could post a picture or describe where these drains are? If not it's no big deal
Thanks!

There are 4 drian holes connected to 4 drain tubes, the holes are located at the 4 corners of the sunroof.

Go to the link below and check the posts by "the__josh" posts numbers 155 and 156, which shows photos of his 4 Runner with the interior completely removed, you can clearly see the front 2 drain locations with the drain tubes at the sunroof, you can't however see the rear ones at the sunroof itself, but you can see in some of the photos where the tubes are routed to the rear of the truck.

I would suggest cleaning anything you see at the holes possibly blocking them and then using low pressure air blowing out the tubes to make sure the tube are cleared.
