Bad leak

After flushing my power steering system completely, my truck has developed a pretty bad leak. The leak was present before, but nowhere near as rapid as it is now. I'm guessing it's because the clean fluid is thinner than the gross stuff I drained out.
Coming from the inner tie rod where it meets the rack?
My pump is loud again because of it and I've had to keep filling the reservoir .

Considering how quick it leaks, I won't put up with it for long and luckily it's not my daily driver.

Is that rack comparable to OEM? I thought I've read that OEM is the way to go

Did you use ATF? That stuff in the pic looks pretty clear. I believe power steering fluid is bad in our steering system.

I suppose ATF might come clear too, I don't know.

Well I do like the lifetime warranty, kinda tough to beat.

I had a leak this summer. After refilling the PS rez a few times with Maxlife ATF, the leak went away on its own.

I love a happy ending

It wouldn't hurt to try to use some stop leak product. If you are lucky, it may stop it, if not, you are only out 5 bucks or so.

Considering you are in MA, the old fluid may act as a good rust prohibitor. But do try the Maxlife...

I may try it for the hell of it but I'm still just going to replace the rack. I'll do the lbjs while I'm at it

I did use a power steering stop leak on mine and yes it did work. It lasted a few more months until the rack eventually did fail.
