Badge Removal (Grille)

I read in another thread that the badge removal is very simple and that it is just attached with three short posts. This is true, however, I am not sure how to get the factory badge off? I looked under the hood and it seems like I may have to remove the grille and then disassemble to get to the back of the badge. Is this necessary or do I just pry out the factory badge with a flat blade such as a puddy knife? Thanks in advance.

There is a screw on the back holding the emblem in place.

The grille s very easy to remove.

Hehe, I did. Now look.

my grille rattles, and when i looked at how it was attached it appears it is held in place by pins. I cant tighten them to stop the rattle, what should i do?

You can try to bend then in so when it "clicks-in" it's a tighter fit.

its not loose in the that direction, i dont know if that makes any sense? its loose in and out
