Baja ladder - black nuts/bolts?

Has anyone located/used black nuts and bolts for the bottom of the Baja ladder that are visible? If not, is it because the ones it comes with are more corrosion resistant than the black ones would be and it inst worth the hassle of corrosion?

I just bought this ladder today and had the same question. Sub'd in case there is a solution.

Rattle can black is what I would use....but then im an old guy and try to do the easiest hehehe

The fasteners are stainless steel, with a black oxide coating. They wont rust, and a little oil on the coating once in a while will keep them looking nice.

I've used these before for the license plate on my Tacoma and they began rusting within a couple months. It doesn't help I live near the ocean. I'll probably just tape off the surrounding area and lightly paint the remaining silver that is exposed.
