Bajarack Installed 2007 Limited

The guys at Bajarack got me my rack really quickly! I installed it last weekend. This weekend I planned on going fishing and camping and planned on gettings some images up around Monache Meadows...however the trip plans got messed up at the last minute...flaky people...what can you do. So I drove over into PV and got some pics of the new rack. Hopefully I can try it out on a 4x trip in a couple of weeks.

I have to thank John at BajaRack for sending it to me so quickly. It was supposed to take 3-4 weeks but he was able to get me one in less than a week!!! I was rather surprised. The install was a piece of cake. I also have to thank Blair for convincing me to go ahead and make the rack the next priority in the things I want to do to the rig.

also, how do you clean/wash/wax your roof with the rack on? do you have to take it off every few months to get a thorough wash/wax? :sobbing:

Easy answer...if you have kids make them do it :lmao:

...but you can fit your hands/arm through somewhat and you can get to the roof through the spaces in the rack itself. I haven't waxed it yet with the rack on...so I shall see. A hand wax would be doable. Though it isn't that hard to take off if need be and if you mess up the nylock nuts you can always pick up 8 new ones at any hardware store.

Sweet. Ordered one for my '06 this last weekend. Counting the days till it gets delivered. I know the jack/shovel/tire carriers already shipped.

When you ordered your Schrock did you have the body lift already? That part on their site confused me a bit.

I don't have a body lift??? What do you mean?

Shrockworks provides two brackets that bolt to the frame and then you bolt the bumper to that. If you have a body lift you need to tell them so they can make the brackets to line up with the body lines.

Either you do or do not have a body lift....if you do then you just select the drop down box for how much lift you have. Otherwise leave that box set to none.

Nice rack !! Great looking truck as well . So what are your limitations for carrying weight ? I would sure be interested in that as I camp all the time as well. But then I would need that bumper as well :biggrin2:

Bajarack limits the weight capacity to 300#. The factory rack (now removed) was limited to 165#.
