I was reading some threads on 2nd gens and I saw a few fab sites with BJ spacers. What do they do and why haven't I seen them for 3rd gens? Do these allow more clearance between the UCA's and tires?
i have never seen them for 3rd gen and really they wouldnt do anything. on a 2nd gen that is one of the ways to lift them. the 2nd gen has a torsion bar instead of a coil over and the torsion bar is on the upper a arm so spacing the ball joint lifts the front of the truck without changing the torsion bar preload. so the upper control arm controls how high the vehicle is so spacing the ball joint down raises the front
