Baltimore/Washington Area Shop Recommendations

Hello All,

New to the forum and new to the 4Runner. Also not much of a DIY guy. I have a 2018 TRD Off Road Premium with KDSS and am looking to do some mods, beginning with a trans cooler and later, suspension upgrades, etc. Looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, reliable and trustworthy shop in the Baltimore/Washington area. Suggestions?

I had Quality Tire in Woodbridge, VA do all of my work. Did everything in a very reasonable time frame as far as I was concerned.

Had tires mounted, C4 Lo Pro Bumper installed, all the wiring for the fogs, winch and light bar, as well as my rock sliders.

URD is out that direction.
I recently emailed Gadget about having them do my SC install. He said they don't work on customer vehicles. But I'm sure if you call and ask, he's got a good list of plenty in the area.

GT Peace

Check out GT Peace in Chantilly, they have several very knowledgeable 4Runner guys. I get my 16' 4Runner worked on there and never had any issues. Great group of guys.

For basic maintenance I can recommend foreign auto experts in Elkridge. they installed my bilsteins have been doing all service work for the last 3 years. They are the most honest mechanics I have met. I am sure if they cant handle it, they could recommend a 4wd shop for some of the mods you are looking at.

GT Peace in Chantilly, VA hands down. Ask for Scott and tell them you found their info here on the forum. I believe they offer a discount for forum members. I will not take my truck anywhere else. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable, trustworthy, and has been wheeling 4Runners for a long time.
