Toybaru Any compatibility issues with the KDSS and the Pro suspension? Did you modify the Pro skidplate yourself?

Quentin There are some issues with KDSS to Pro conversions...
b407driver addresses them in his posts:

One possible issue is the lean of a normal 4Runner as compared to a KDSS equipped 4Runner. Normal ones typically lean to the left (drivers side), whereas KDSS equipped ones typically lean to the right (passenger side). The Pro suspension attempts to counter the lean by adjusting the shock's perch on the drivers side by about 1/2 inch (higher) to level the 4runner left to right. However, on a KDSS equipped 4Runner, it can make the lean worse since it leans opposite. While b407driver had this issue, I didn't. In his post he talks about how to figure it all out.

The second issue is the skid plate. b407driver took a template that he found on here and further modified it to make the cuts on the TRD Pro skid plate. I took his template to a local shop, Virginia Solar Tinting (VST) here in Midlothian, Virginia to have them make the modifications. What they did was take b407driver's templates and made the cuts based on that. Then, they mounted the skid plate to my 4Runner and lifted it up on their lift. This forced the KDSS to fully articulate. From there they made a few more minor cuts, then polished and painted the cuts. I hope this helps.

My new canadian 2016 TE. Finally laid eyes on it not long after preparation was done. Scheduled to pick it up tomorrow.
