Just a solid layer of carnuba wax and some buffing. Put my son to work helping me shine it up since he is so good at making a mess in the back seat.

Seeing all these 4runners in red just cemented my decision to get another red car. The 4runner will be my 3rd red car, I just love how they stand out in a parking lot! I have had black and silver for my last two vehicles and I hate blending in with every other black and silver car out there. Especially since driving a black suburban, I've walked up to other people's cars more times than I can count lol. How does it pick up dirt/dust on normal drives? This is a slightly different red than I've had before, more metallic and I'm thinking it will pick it up different than my non-metallic Jeep.

It seems to hide normal road grime well enough. I've noticed that if I'm out on dusty trails, it does take on this pinkish hue though.

They do clean-up nicely...

Almost done with base mods

said no one ever!

But yeah it's mostly done for now. Next week is ARB front locker, 4.56 gearing, and stiffer rear springs. Next step is to wear out current suspension then go to something nicer, also maybe a fridge if I can convince the GF it's worth it. At least she loves the fold down tables

I’m still looking myself but one really easy and scenic drive is old nc 105. The north end is right by the parking lot for linville water fall.
