"Base Camp" 2015 Superwhite TE Build Thread

Yeah, my first time on the forum I found ANTMAN's thead and immediatley figured out how to get 40 posts on one page. :)
That's so much clicking... He's still on page one for me. Gotta expand those forum settings!

EDIT: Looks like I made it a two pager for those of us with the higher comment settings...haha

Nice to see another member from Austin. I live up in Leander, so hit me up if you need a helping hand with anything.

Placeholder for ego driven defensive comment about your comment about my cosmetic and unnecessary modification #22. :boxer:

I'm just glad we have another member that understands our sense of humor...

Never mind understanding my jokes...
Buuuttttt, since it's Friday.....

A man in a hot air balloon realised he was lost. He reduced altitude and spotted a guy below. He descended a bit more and shouted, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The guy below replied, "You're in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You're between 59 and 60 degrees north latitude and between 107 and 108 degrees west longitude."

"You must be an engineer," said the balloonist.

"I am," replied the guy, "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I've no idea what to make of your information, and the fact is I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help at all. If anything, you've delayed my trip."

The guy below responded, "You must be in Management."

"I am," replied the balloonist, "but how did you know?"

"Well," said the guy, "you don't know where you are or where you're going. You have risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise, which you've no idea how to keep, and you expect people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is you are in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, it's my fault."

BTW dieck did you see my post on why your speedometer is wrong over in the other thread you started?

OMG, that's got to be the funniest joke I've read/heard in a long time! Thanks for that!

This is especially funny for me because I'm both an engineer and a manager... :) I was sitting with my technical team when this email came in and I read the joke to them. Several of the more Jr guys squirmed in their seat and didn't know if they could laugh or not. It was hilarious.

Thanks for sharing!

LMAO!!! My girlfriend is an engineer and manager. We LOLed pretty hard reading this.

I want to see more of the deck you are doing. I don't have a 4Runner yet, but already thinking about my off road trailer I am building along with a similar storage system in the back.

I am confused, when the seats are folded, the rear area is not flat. Seems your deck is making it two levels.

Also where did you get the hardware?

Edit to add, I too am an engineer, just made 33 years with the same company I stated with out of college.
