Finally, it's in, bolted down, screwed together, line-x'ed, liners in, and it's actually flush and the doors open

Yeah, I've got 3 medium sized lab mixes that ride back there and two kids so cargo control becomes important. Plus being an engineer my mind is always thinking about momentum of objects in the back in the event of a head on collision. I don't want my Engel refrigerator to become a projectile.

Holy crap! I'm impressed with your rear cargo storage. I may eventually take some of these ideas when I get to that stage. I haven't started my build yet, but am slowly but surely getting close to it. Do you plan on mounting a sliding fridge?

I do have an Engel fridge I will be mounting from time to time, but find the slides too expensive and "fiddly" I have a camping / dog trailer that I pull that has a kitchen and also has a place for a the fridge in it.
The reality is the 4runner had a little higher payload than my previous tundra crewmax and I carry lots of different things in it from mountain bikes, to home improvement supplies, to adventure gear for our climbing expeditions, etc.
I don't think I'll make it to the Overland Expo, though I would enjoy going. Let me know if I can be helpful with any additional information for your build.

Was not happy with the ride of the Toytec Boss front suspension. Also heard some clunks when cornering or going over bumps. Got underneath it last night and tightened everything up. Noticed that the front sway bar didn't have as much clearance as I expected after grinding it down. Took the front apart and removed the radiator support. Sure enough there was a shiny part where the way bar was contacting the radiator brace. Ground some more out. Today it drove like a dream. Loving the new suspension and corners much better without the binding of the sway bar. Can't believe some of you guys run without them.
