Basic maintenance for a new driver and wheeler

Hello fellow 4Drivers! I'm 16 and have had my license for 8 months. I was handed down my mom's '01 4Runner Limited (I'm quite lucky) and was wondering what basic things to look for and maintain from everyday driving. I've been an auto enthusiast my whole life but am the only one in my family so I've never learned the tech side of the lifestyle. Thanks for the help!

Also! Opinions and suggestions for my hopeful modifications:
-Cheap suspension lift for at least 3" to clear tires (suggestions?)
-34 inch creepy crawlers
-frame sliders (suggestions?)
-spare tire relocator (suggestions?)
-diff locker (question on diff lockers: can they only be run on solid axles? The only ones I could find were for axles and I would like to run a front and rear.)
-new wheels, maybe beadlocks (I want to make my truck pretty)

Thanks!

Maintenance is key on these trucks. If you haven't done already, go head and knock out an oil change, spark plugs( NGK or denso), PCV valve, clean your MAF sensor and throttle body, replace fuel filter, replace front, rear differential fluids and your t-case fluid, transmission fluid and go head and install a tranny cooler to prevent the "pink milkshake." I think this sums up it on basic maintenance for our trucks. If I missed something, I'm sure someone else will chime in. Good luck
