****Dropped price to account for needing new tires within a year (per advice from a fellow forum member)****
The time has come to put my 4Runner up for sale. I recently got hold of a GX460 cos I am getting old and soft.
I bought this fella in 2012 w/ 112k on the clock. It has spent its entire life in AR (1st Owner and me) and TX (me). It has seen snow a couple of times in AR.
Vehicle has 265/75/R16 Yokohama Geolander A/Ts (will need replacing this year), matching spare that hasnt seen the road, and a 2.5” lift from Bilstein 5100 + OME Springs.
I have used the tow bar for the small-size U-haul trailer three times as I moved between AR and TX, aside from that only used for carrying a bike rack.
All parts used on this vehicle are OEM Toyota only (aside from shocks, springs, PCK, head unit, tow bar).
This vehicle is cosmetically not the prettiest but is mechanically perfect. I just drove from Austin to Big Bend and back without any issues. Took it down Old Ore Road, Pine Canyon, and some others while there. Photos show condition as-is, dusty from the desert.

If I was 10 years younger I would get it Line-X’d and slap on a Shrockworks front bumper…but like I said, I am old and soft now

- Every 5k - oil change and tire rotation
- 120k
- 150k (=30k repeat)
- 180k (=60k repeat)
- 210k (=90k repeat) - performed Jan 2023, this included timing belts and spark plugs. I also got some extra bits taken care of before the Big Bend trip:
- Front and rear diff service
- Transfer case service
- Top Eng/throttle body service
- Brake fluid service
- Wheel alignment

- Valve cover gasket
- Radiator replaced

- Bilstein 5100s and OME 8880/906 Springs - prof. installed
- 2.5” lift all round
- OME Spacer to offset driver-side lean - self-install
- EIMKeith PCK - prof. installed
- Replaced tow bar to make room for matching tire - self install
- CV Axle reboot - self-install (following one of Tim & Sean’s awesome videos!)
- LBJ replaced - self-install (also following one of Tim & Sean’s awesome videos!)
- Starter solenoid replaced - self install
- Ceramic heat reduction tint, all windows - prof. installed
- Kenwood head unit - self install
- Routed Carplay and Andriod Auto USB ports in place of the cigarette lighter
- Disabled daytime running lights - self install
- Wired in switch to disable auto antenna raising up, needed after head unit replacement - self install
- A/C controls refurbed - by JRZEE2000TR4LTD
Known Issues:
- Was involved in low-speed front-end collision (Jan '21) - see photos.
- Bodywork damage, no mechanical issues.
- Paint coming off on the top side of roof, hood etc
- Crack/hole in passenger side fog light cover – light doesn't work
- Front bumper has lots of chips in the paint, not related to the accident
