Battery , Brake and A/T Oil Temp light came on my Toyota 4Runner 1990

Battery , Brake and A/T Oil Temp light came on yesterday morning on my 1990 4Runner.
When this happens suddenly out of nowhere the most LIKELY is your Alternator s gone bad. It could be the brushes inside the Alternator which needs to be replaced.
To be sure I
Checked Battery: Ok
Checked Brakes: Ok
Checked Automatic Transmission Fluid: Ok

So today I shopped around for the Alternator brushes.
Toyota Dealer : $25.90 for a pair (set)
Napa : $6.10 for a pair (set)

I got a set from Napa, came home, removed the Alternator, cleaned it up, changed the Brushes.
Aside from other tools like wrenches, screw driver and such, you will also need a soldering tools. There's a video on how to solder brushes on YouTube.com.

Nicely done. Great to see a guy fix what he's got rather than run down to Vatozone to pick up a "reman" alternator. You should stick around.
