Hi, my battery finally died this morning.
I just want to get an opinions what battery would be the best choice for 2002 T4R, considering NY winter. Temperature here gets down to about 5-10F in the winters.

thanks all.

The cheapest battery you can afford with the highest RC and CCA that will fit.

I like interstate but any battery with identical specs are probably the same unless one is Deka.

Any battery will work that has the correct cold cranking amps (CCA) rating.

You spend more for more months of warranty. There are only two or three battery manufacturers making all of those batteries with different brand names on them.

Interstate, DieHard (except for the Platinum), and Kirkland (Costco) are all made by Johnson Controls for example.

Are you from Joise?

Sorry, I couldn't resist?

Why soitenly, he must be...

x2 with shootmymime. Gots the Interstate MTP-24F in both Runners. They're Toyotas, so they generally start anyway. A little extra assurance doesn't hurt -

You have to remember that most of these regular batteries are made by Johnson Controls. I'm talking Interstate, AAP, Vatozone, whatever. The name on the sticker doesn't mean much. It's all about CCA's, Reserve Capacity, and warranty. Costco changed their battery labeling to Interstate but they are the same batteries. They have great warranty and customer service.
