I got a new battery a few weeks ago (less than 1k miles on it). I recently brought my car into the dealership to get the drive belts replaced. They recommended I get their "battery service - thermostat leaking". They wanted 96.99 to fix it.
Could anyone enlighten me on what this means? It seems like they were just going to clean the terminals when I asked what it involved. I declined it, telling them I just replaced the battery, but out of curiosity I looked under the hood and the terminals definitely looked acidic.
