Battery draining - Short?

I have noticed the last two nights here in beautiful Buffalo as it's been cold and raining that my headlights turn on a few hours after i turn off the truck and the hvac goes on along with heated seats. Any one out there have any problems like this before. It drained my battery and i'm hoping it's just a shorted fuse or ground line. Any thoughts are helpful.

Thanks

I think it's just trying to make you happy by secretly warming the car up for the next time you take a trip.

Are those the only systems that turn on?

Guessing, but looking at schematics it may be a faulty ignition switch.

How old is the battery.
Mine just went out and it gave no warning like old cars did with slow crank.
Do a battery check at a auto parts store if it is old.
Remember there are still a lot of things that require a small amount of power.
